You possess the necessary knowledge of NDTs (or are prepared to acquire this knowledge quickly) so that you can deal with the technical aspects of the files yourself.
you are an engineer with a number of years of relevant experience in non-destructive testing and/or in a nuclear power plantyou are passionate about technologyyou have a highly analytical approach, along with a good feel for the situation on the ground and a pragmatic outlookyou are fluent in German, French and English, or believe you will be soonyou are flexible and are prepared to undertake assignments taking you to the relevant sites (frequent trips to nuclear sites in Europe and occasional business trips abroad lasting up to approximately one week)you are articulate and assertive: you communicate easily and openly with all levels of the managerial hierarchy and also with third parties and the authoritiesyou can manage your tasks independently and are punctual and able to cope with stress
Due to the high level of technical expertise involved in this position, experience in several of the following domains or techniques is required:
familiarity with European nuclear power plants, legislation/regulations, technical specifications and the relevant authorities (the Authorised Inspection Agency (AIA), Federal Agency for Nuclear Control (FANC), Bel V) – experience of working with these organisations would be an advantage knowledge of the operation of a PWR reactor ultrasonic testing, testing magnetic particle and/or liquid penetrant testing metallographic replicas, radiography, etc.general metallurgy and safety mechanismsfamiliarity with ASME standards for non-destructive testing in nuclear power plants
